Specialist Saudi law

The law the Kingdom runs on.

Temairik Law is a specialist firm practicing the nine areas of law that govern business in Saudi Arabia today — intellectual property, franchise, commercial, corporate, foreign investment, employment, data protection, cloud and technology, and cybersecurity. We go deep where it counts, advising on the Kingdom’s own instruments.

Built for the new regulatory Kingdom.

Saudi Arabia has rebuilt the rules of business in under a decade — a dedicated Franchise Law, a codified Civil Transactions Law, a new Companies Law, the PDPL, and a mandatory national cybersecurity regime. We built our practice around exactly this body of law: a specialist firm that lives in it.

Invest in Saudi Arabia under the new Investment Law

Since February 2025, foreign investors register with MISA instead of licensing — with equal treatment, free transfer of funds, and 100% ownership in most sectors. We take investors from registration to a running operation.

Nine disciplines. One standard.

Intellectual Property

We register, defend, and commercialize intellectual property in Saudi Arabia — trademarks, patents, designs, and copyright — before SAIP, the IP committees, and the courts.

Read

Franchise

We structure, document, register, and defend franchise arrangements under the Franchise Law — for franchisors bringing brands into the Kingdom, and Saudi brands franchising at home and abroad.

Read

Commercial

We draft, negotiate, and litigate the contracts a business runs on in Saudi Arabia under the Civil Transactions Law — the Kingdom's first codified law of obligations.

Read

Corporate

We form, structure, and govern companies in Saudi Arabia — in most sectors a foreign investor can now own 100% of a Saudi company with MISA registration and no local partner.

Read

Foreign Investment

Market entry under the new Investment Law — MISA registration, 100% ownership, investor protections, and the RHQ decision.

Read

Employment

We act for employers on the full life of the employment relationship — contracts, policies, Saudization, terminations, and disputes — under the Labor Law as amended through 2024–2025.

Read

Data Protection

We build PDPL compliance that holds — gap assessments, privacy programs, SDAIA registration, breach response, and cross-border transfer.

Read

Cloud & Technology

We advise cloud providers and customers on operating lawfully in Saudi Arabia — what may be hosted and where under the CCRF, CST registrations, and the contracts that govern the service.

Read

Cybersecurity

We advise on Saudi Arabia's mandatory cybersecurity regime — which NCA controls apply to you, how to reach compliance, and how to respond legally when an incident hits.

Frequently asked questions

Can a foreign company own 100% of its Saudi business?

In most sectors, yes. Under the Investment Law in force since February 2025, foreign investors register with the Ministry of Investment (MISA) — registration replaced licensing — and receive equal treatment with local investors.
